FAQ's
What is fragrance oil made from?
Fragrance oils used in candles contain a variety of aromatic components, some sourced naturally and others created synthetically. Natural fragrances are extracted from plants or flowers, while synthetic fragrances are produced from artificial materials. With over 2,000 premium fragrance blends available for candle making, there are stringent global regulations ensuring the safe use of fragrance ingredients.
How long should I allow any of my candles to burn for?
Limit candle burning to a maximum of 4 hours. Always supervise lit candles and ensure they are placed away from flammable objects. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Before lighting, trim the wick to 3/16" (5mm) each time. Maintain a clean wax pool by removing any debris. Avoid burning candles for longer than 4 hours and extinguish them when 1/2" of unmelted wax remains.
When should I stop burning my candle?
You should extinguish your candle when there is approximately 1/2 to 1 inch of wax remaining. This residual wax serves as a safety buffer. Burning the candle beyond this point may cause the glass to overheat and potentially shatter.
What temperature should my candle be burning at?
It's advisable to keep your candle burning at around 150 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. However, it's crucial to ensure that the temperature never reaches the flashpoint temperature of the oils used in the candle.
